EVANS ELEMENTARY ~ 2014-2015

3RD MARKING PERIOD ENDS APRIL 7TH
Report cards will be available for viewing electronically as of 4/17/15 at 4:00 PM.
PSSA TESTING INFORMATION for 2014-2015
 
          PSSA TESTING for the 2014-2015 school year is scheduled
     for April 13 through April 24, 2015, for Math and Reading - for students in Grade 3 & Grade 4.  Science Testing will take place between April 27 to May 1, 2015 - for students is Grade 4.  Click HERE to review the parent letter and information regarding these important assessment tests. Please do not plan any vacations or appointments around these testing times. Thank you for cooperation.
Evans Wetlands Volunteer Spring Clean
 
Come out to help Evans Elementary "Spring Clean.". Volunteers are needed for Evans' "Spring Cleaning Day", Saturday, May 2nd, 9 AM to 12 PM. All the details about the volunteer opportunity are included on this flyer. In addition, various types of gardening tools are needed to assist with the clean up, if you can help, please contact your child’s teacher by April 24th.
MODIFIED KINDERGARTEN SCHEDULE
 
When there is a two-hour delay because of inclement weather,
Kindergarten classes will be held on a
MODIFIED SCHEDULE ...

AM Kindergarten ... 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM
                                Student arrival 10:45 AM
                                AM Bus for arrival - 2 hours after normal scheduled time
                                PM Bus for dismissal – 1 hour after normal scheduled time


PM Kindergarten ... 1:55 PM to 3:40 PM
                                Student arrival 1:45 PM
                                PM Bus for arrival – 1 hour after normal scheduled time
                                PM Bus for dismissal – normal scheduled time

The National Association of Elementary School Principals provide members with a monthly parenting tip newsletter, Report to Parents or RtP. In this space periodically Evans will provide a link to the newsletter as it pertains to a subject matter and tip that might interest you as a parent of an Evans student.

pertains to "Test Preparation". Regardless of when you last took an important test, you probably can still remember how it made your heart race. Now imagine what its like for your child; as a parent, you can help. Here are some tips on how you can help.
