Evans Elementary School Announcements 2012-2013 SCHOOL THEME EVANS ELEMENTARY...Where Dreams Take Flight!   Kindergarten Registration for 2013-2014 To begin the Kindergarten Registration process for the 2013-2014 school year, please go to www.spring-ford.net and click on "For Parents" along the top of the screen and choose "Registration" to download the required documents. Please contact the main office of Evans Elementary to schedule an appointment to process the completed documents at anytime. Children must be 5 years of age
by August 31, 2013. Should you have any questions, please contact the office by calling 610-705-6012. Transportation / Child Care Form 2013-2014 CHILD CARE TRANSPORTATION FORM
if your child(ren) will be in child care either before school, after schoool,
or both during the 2013-2014 school year, you must complete a "Child Care/Day Care Transportation Form". A new form must be completed for each new school year. Click here to access the form. PSSA Testing Information for 2013-14  PSSA TESTING for the 2013-2014 school year is scheduledfor March 17th through March 28th, 2014, for Math and Reading - for students in Grade 3 & Grade 4. Science Testing will take place between April 28th and May 2nd, 2014 - for students is Grade 4. Please plan any vacations or appointments around these testing times. Thank you for cooperation during these important dates. Healthy Lunchtime Challenge Healthy Lunchtime Challenge The Prize: Trip to Washington DC to Attend Kids’ State Dinner with Michelle Obama
Children ages 8 to 12 and their parents or legal guardians are invited to submit original, healthy lunch recipes. One winner from each state will win a trip to Washington DC and the opportunity to attend a Kids’ “State Dinner” with the First Lady, Michelle Obama. The deadline for submitting a recipe is May 12, 2013. In this space periodically Evans will provide a link to the newsletter as it pertains to a subject matter and tip that might interest you as a parent of an Evans student.
